Some quick stuff before I grab a shower!

So I may not be going to as many cons as usual this year!! ;3; I recently graduated and am kind of on the job hunt, but I've been offered one in Portland (I live right on the EAST COAST) and if no jobs on this side of the map end up pulling through, well, I'm off to Portland!!! ;A; So I'm mainly trying to use this time to really pad my savings and get a job situated and possibly prepare for the transition to Portland, so I'm trying to keep my cons relatively local so I won't be pumping as much money out. Which means, for starters, no Momocon this year I'm so sry The one non-local con I will be investing in for sure is AWA, that's my big splurge. So that also rules out all the other non-local cons I've been hoping to go to like Katsucon and Nekocon. sob.

But keep an eye on my cosplay page!! I'll be around!!!

I want to take a second to thank everyone who came out for Hoshicon and stopped by my Artists Alley booth!!! You guys were lovely, I had an absolute blast and I can't wait for next year!!

OH MY GOSH HEY GUYS!! So I FINALLY got around to passing this on by this big hottie who showed me that I can put pictures in my journal without being a paid subscriber!!!

You didn't used to get to do that, they used to make you pay. Glad we've moved on from that!!

Katrina is one talented cosplayer, I cannot encourage you guys enough to check out her work. She puts so much dedication into her cosplays and her photoshoots, and you can see that in the amazing quality of her work. Pay a visit!

CASH PERMITTING I will be doing Hanji. I have to order her wig, make those belt body straps, make that bloody jacket, find those bloody boots, build all that d*mn 3DMG....it's gonna cost me an a**load of money, and at the moment I haven't even gotten what's gonna pay for the hotel room =__=

Ooooh my gosh guys, I completely lost track of how many photos were taken of me as Momiji today, and the day is only half over. Everyone has said the nicest things ("whooooooa...." Chiaki Ishikawa herself) and I really appreciate it. Most people have that one cosplay that they identify with and consider their persona, and Momiji is one of those cosplays for me, so I am just speechless, thank you for your kindness.

This is a SUUUUPER crowded con, if you don't like large crowds I'd say steer away from this one *__* The walking traffic tends to be stand-still. Otakon is the second biggest anime con in the country at over 30,000 expected attendees, so it gets very heavy very quickly.

So far I got the autographs of Maile Flanagan (who was an absolute cutie) and Chiaki Ishikawa, which is brilliant...sadly no Yoko???? I think, like, she had a secret-ish autograph session to avoid a flood, because she's one of our BIIIIG guests, you had to come stand in a line and be one of, I think, 200 people in order to get a ticket to her concert...so I got there at 7:30 AM and waited til they gave the tickets out at 1 PM *_* NOW I get to stand in ANOTHER line TOMORROW to get good seats. BD
